As we all are, I’m an ever unfolding expression of the divine and this great mystery called life. Pinning myself down with titles has always been a challenge because I like to explore, redefine, and re-emerge. But when I look back at my life, there have always been themes and threads that tie me all together in wholeness.
I am an artist, I feel that I can say that fully. I believe we are all meant to create and the medium is a choice of infinite possibility. My medium has changed more times than I can count, but creating beauty is my soul purpose. There are times when I’ve lost myself and again and again, I have found my divine calling in creativity.
Spirituality and ceremonial practices based in the Andean earth-honoring traditions are a part of my life that I hold near and dear. This path enchanted me since I began training in 2011. There is such magic in the earth wisdom traditions and such deep healing.
I have a college degree in Studio Art and recently spent a season devoted to Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way”. This spiritual path of rediscovering my creative self is what called me to ceremonial jewelry design.
After college, I worked as a sample maker for a successful jewelry designer, learning the foundations of crafting with care and skill. I have a habit of leaving projects unfinished and I don’t like that. So here I am 20 years later, feeding the long held desire to create my own beautiful adornments.
My web-designer hubby and I have lived all over the US but have come full circle to settle in Rhode Island as the New England coast always calls us home. I’m the dog mama of a pure-hearted, wild-natured husky who made me love winter and long for year round snow.
I drink a lot of tea and adore flowers, coziness, and a good meal.
Tomorrow this story may be totally different but that thread of change is really the one thing that I can count on. All I can do is embrace this path of discovering myself again and again.
